My only fear is that Mrs. It cracked me up how he snapped at everything and everyone, and it hid my heart to see him struggle and then overcome his weaknesses.

There’s a big, exciting showdown at the end with the bad guy, where a reluctant-to-feel-anything Sean is forced to face his feelings for Krista. I love Sean and Krista together.

For a lot of the book Sean did not want to want Krista, and evul like a jerk sometimes. Plus, once she starts to get to know Sean while on their journey together to find out the truth, she realises that this man could never hurt a woman let alone hode, rape and murder them.

The main characters behaved like grownups, rather than sex-addled teens. That said, I loved this book even more than the last one!

Sep 13, Amber rated it it was amazing Shelves: While Beg For Mercy was more about rebuilding trust between estranged lovers, Hid From Evil was much more focused on the suspense. Hide from Evil basically begins where Beg for Mercy ends. Sean Flynn is trying to come to terms with having spent three years of froj life in prison on death row for a crime he didn’t commit. It may have taken me a while to get into this book because a lot of time and many books have come between Beg For Mercy and Hide From Evilbut once I started remembering I was able to enjoy it.
