It’s a book I foresee myself going back to this book time and again to remind and check myself for mistakes and for improvements, I am sure it would be such a book for you too. Having read it once, I really need to go back through it, pencil in hand. I jive with Hybels here, if you’ve made a mistake in a axuom then investors don’t necessarily want your head on a platter, they want to know that you’ve axoom learned from those mistakes and won’t make them again.

You will read all you can. Four stars for the perfect timing, clarity of communication and giving me a few actionable takeaways. I tried to read it a year or two ago and it yhbels not hold my attention.

So I began reading it a little while back when I had free moments because of it’s unique format.

I highly recommend this book. Since my first encounter with Hybels aroundI’ve been a student and fan. Each axiom is also summarized in a sidebar block quote and “linked” to other related chapters elsewhere in the book. You will do whatever you have to do to increase your leadership input, because you know as well as I do that it will make you better. Axio you wish for a resource that is simple and succinct, this book would be ideal.

Hybels has lead Willow Creek Church for over three decades grow from just a few to over 25, in weekly attendance. The ONE book on leadership that every pastor or Christian in leadership should read and re-read.

I walked right past this on the book table, thinking Hybels had run out of things to say and settled on rehashing little tidbits. Bill Hybels was born in in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
